Brian is determined to reach the summit, and he’s asking John’s friends to join in these two quests, his and John’s — with all the money going to Alzheimer’s research.

Mt. Kilimanjaro’s peak is 19,340 feet. At a penny a foot, that’s $193.40.

But feel free to join in at a nickel a foot: That comes to $967. If you really want to go high, the math on a dime a foot is easy: It’s $1,934.

Of course, any amount you contribute will mean a great deal to John and Marty, to Brian, and to the millions of Americans whose lives are touched, irrevocably, by Alzheimer’s.

All donations are tax deductible and go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association. Just click here to go to a special site the Association set up to receive contributions as tributes to John.
